Beekeeping Registration

BEEKEEPING REGISTRATION

In South Africa, you are legally required to register with the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform & Rural Development if you keep, own, or are in charge of a colony of bees for hobbyist, commercial, or bee removal purposes. It is free to register.

Complete the form and email it to RofhiwaN@dalrrd.gov.za.

You will receive your registration number within a few days. Remember to renew your registration every 24 months using the same method as described above.
